RemotePrint

Order server for Goodcom GPRS / WiFi receipt printers. Printers poll this domain for new orders, print them, and send back a confirmation.

How it works

  1. The printer polls the RemotePrint server over GPRS, 3G or WiFi at a fixed interval, sending its account reference.
  2. If an order is waiting, the server returns it in Goodcom order format (#…#) and the printer prints it. If there is nothing to print, the response is empty.
  3. The restaurant accepts or rejects the order on the printer, and the printer sends a confirmation back to the server.
